Our Partners in Ohio

We've worked with the following partners in this state to expand access to reproductive health care.

Current Partners

Local partner
ROOTT (Restoring Our Own Through Transformation)

NIRH is working with NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, and ROOTT, in partnership with other coalition members and City Councilmember Elizabeth Brown, to introduce a non-discrimination ordinance that will protect employees in Columbus against retaliation for any reproductive choice, including accessing abortion. This initiative builds on Columbus's progress toward realizing many of the policy objectives enshrined in the Local Reproductive Freedom Index’s Model City, including affording protections for people based on gender identity, protecting abortion clinics, and embracing comprehensive sexuality education curricula in schools and city health centers.

State partner
Preterm

Preterm is working as part of a cohort of organizations in Ohio on a long-term initiative to develop and advance an abortion rights vision, engage a new and broad base of supporters, and reduce shame and stigma by publicly promoting the affirmative value of abortion in women's lives.
