Our Partners in Indiana

We've worked with the following partners in this state to expand access to reproductive health care.

Current Partners

Local partner
All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center, South Bend

Whole Woman’s Health Alliance is partnering with Pro Choice South Bend and All-Options to host a Reproductive Health Bootcamps to educate key constituencies about the importance of access to high-quality abortion care. With support from NIRH, the bootcamp will provide information to community members, local government officials, and religious leaders to destigmatize abortion and prepare them to become advocates for high quality, compassionate abortion care. This is particularly critical in South Bend, where a Whole Woman’s Health clinic is facing unnecessary delays and hurdles as it awaits license approval by the Indiana State Department of Health to begin offering comprehensive reproductive health care.

All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center, Bloomington

All-Options provides direct services and uses social change strategies to promote unconditional, judgment-free support for people experiencing pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. NIRH is working with All-Options on their new initiative, “All-Options for All Hoosiers,” intended to set the stage for their future reproductive justice policy advocacy by building and strengthening their relationships with policymakers and community members. All-Options is hosting a series of tours for community organizations and leaders at their Bloomington center, and NIRH and All-Options are collaborating to develop a City Scorecard for Bloomington, using the framework established in the Local Reproductive Freedom Index.

Whole Woman’s Health Alliance (Minnesota) and the Abortion Care Network formed a coalition of providers and key allies in Minnesota to review Medicaid reimbursement policies over a three-part roundtable. A survey administered to five independent providers in Minnesota revealed that Medicaid reimbursement rates and timing put an even bigger financial strain than anticipated on providers’ ability to offer abortions after twelve weeks. They are now using this information to reshape their strategic plan to deal with the shifting political climate and to engage the Department of Human Services and the Governor’s office.
