The Trump-Pence administration has made their anti-woman agenda clear from the beginning: overturn Roe v. Wade and make abortion a crime. There has never been a more critical time to protect access to abortion care on a state-by-state level.
From confirming two anti-abortion justices to the Supreme Court to rolling back insurance coverage for abortion to spreading inflammatory disinformation about abortion care, this administration will stop at nothing to perpetuate their campaign to restrict access to reproductive health care, including abortion, and stand squarely in the way of reproductive freedom.
Trump has made it clear that women should be punished for abortion. Abortion is health care, not a crime – and we know that the vast majority of voters agree, and believe that when a woman has decided to have an abortion, she should be able to safely and in her own community.
In the face of the Trump administration’s concerted efforts to restrict reproductive freedom nationwide, the best defense against a hostile President and Supreme Court is a strong state-level offense. Legislation that protects abortion access, like New York’s Reproductive Health Act, is a good example of how states are pushing back.
And we’re not stopping there.
Join us in the fight to protect abortion access and stand strong for reproductive freedom, making sure everyone has the ability to control of their own bodies, decisions, and life paths.
