In partnership with NIRH, The Center for Women’s Health Research and Innovation at the University of Pittsburgh (CWHRI) is working to ensure high-quality, equitable, accessible, and person-centered contraceptive care for all Pennsylvanians. Their multi-faceted approach includes administrative advocacy for pharmacist prescribing of contraception, implementation of existing regulations recommending 12-month dispensing of contraception, and working with both providers and payers to address systems-level barriers to full contraceptive access such as confidential care and private payer coverage of key services.
