Background

The Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health and its coalition partners will host a Regional Summit in Chicago, IL in October 2009.

All of the participating Midwestern cities have been targeted as key locations because of their population density and the urban areas they represent. These cities have diverse reproductive health challenges and policies and the convening of these key sites will be beneficial for all participants.

Coalition partners include the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Illinois, Chicago Abortion Fund, Mujeres Latinas in Accion, and representatives from the Chicago Department of Public Health.
